Our Homes have dedicated teams in place whose only focus is to ensure resident lives are enriched with a wide range of activities.

All personalities are considered with large and small groups as well as focused 1:1s.

Activities are always resident-led and include trips out, quizzes, arts and crafts, school and theatre groups, beauty, music, pet therapy and of course birthday parties!

Events

Activities are vital to the overall wellbeing of our residents and as such they are planned with them so that we can ensure that we are providing a programme that they will enjoy. We have whole home, team and family events such as summer fetes, barbecue's and even baby gender reveal parties! Large group activities may be a professional singer, theatre group or quiz. Smaller groups enjoy visits from local schools, baking, music or arts and crafts. If none of these appeal our dedicated activity team will offer one to one sessions, this could include a pamper session, word search or even a simple cup of tea and a chat. Whatever our residents enjoy we make sure there is a planned event that they can enjoy.

Facilities

At Holywell, we have 50 rooms, all furnished if wished, but residents are welcome to bring their furniture. Each room has TVs in rooms. 47 of our rooms have their en suite. Rooms vary in size to meet all budgetary and space requirements. We also have three large communal areas, including a library.Broome Park also has 50 equally furnished rooms with TVs, and residents can bring in their furniture if they wish. Rooms vary in size to meet all budgetary and space requirements with various shared spaces such as the three large communal areas, including a restaurant.

Weekly activities

Explore our care home's sample programme with weekly activities designed to enrich the lives of our residents. Immerse yourself in our cinema club, where cinematic delights bring joy to our community. Test your creativity during craft mornings, afternoons filled with engaging quizzes, and friendly competitions that test darts skills in the lounges. Enjoy outdoor activities with trips to the local park for coffee, cake, and bingo afternoons. Our intergenerational bonds thrive with visits from the preschool, fostering connection and warmth. For some mental stimulation, our assortment of board games promises endless entertainment. Moreover, experience the joy of some furry friends during our pet therapy sessions. At our care home, each week has diverse activities catering to every individual's preferences.
