Broome Park General Manager
As General Manager I’m passionate about providing the best possible care to residents to enhance their lives. I love involving residents and my team in developing ideas on how we can improve the running of our home. I believe my role is to lead by example to create a good culture at Broome Park. It’s my job to motivate staff and promote their development through training and supervision. I thrive on working with my team to drive improvement –and seeing positive change happen.
Broome Park Deputy Manager
My name is Adriana and I am the Deputy Manager here at Broome Park Nursing Home. I qualified as a nurse in Romania in 2006, and in 2011 I received my NMC registration as RGN in the UK. I have worked at Broome Park since 2013 as a RGN and was then promoted to a Deputy Manager position. I enjoy my time working here and I always try to make a difference in our resident's life so they can have a positive experience while in our care.
Broome Park Unit Manager of The Stables
My name is Nicoleta Augustina Luca, but all my colleagues, residents and family know me as Tina. I have worked at Broome Park since 2015, I come from a totally different domain of work, I started as a Health Care Assistant at Stable Cottage, and over the years I had many different job roles. I studied Health and Social Care Management and for the last year, 1I have been Unit Manager at Stable Cottage. I love to work with my colleagues, "We are a big and kind family" and our purpose at Broome Park is to make a difference and a positive impact in our beloved residents’ lives.
Broome Park Head Housekeeper
I started at Broome Park as a Care Assistant in 2016 and then moved to Head of Housekeeping in 2020. In 2019 I met my partner here in Broome Park and together we have two amazing children.
Broome Park Activities Coordinator
I have been the Activities Coordinator at Broome Park since 2023. I love my job here as Broome Park is unique in that there is a sense that everyone is part of a very large family, we all care for the Residents, and we’re a team that helps each other to make those Resident's day-to-day experiences special. I am the Mother of two beautiful young ladies, 3 dogs, 2 ducks, 1 chicken and 1 cockatiel. I am married to a wonderful man, we enjoy walking and cycling together, I love crafting, and crocheting and am a keen researcher too.
Broome Park Administrator
My name is Shannon, I am the Home Administrator. I joined Broome Park in January 2023 initially as a receptionist but shortly after moved into the Home Administrator role. I have 4 years of experience in care prior to my role at Broome Park.I love working within care, especially at Broome Park. No two days are the same. I enjoy the interactions I have with people on a daily basis and building strong relationships with residents, relatives and the caring team I work alongside. My time outside of work is spent with my family, mostly my younger siblings as I am their personal taxi service!’
Broome Park Maintenance Manager
I started at Broome Park team in October 2020 in the maintenance department. I love to be a part of the team and pride myself on be there when they need me. I make sure I am on top of my daily job tasks and love interacting with our lovely residents and their needs. I never give up until the things are done properly to meet the standards. I love to travel to be with my family and to support my favourite football team!
Maintenance Assistant
My name is Sebastian, I am a Maintenance Assistant at Broome Park. I started in September 2023 prior to that I worked as a Maintenance Manager within the care industry for 2 and a half years. I enjoy working with my colleagues at Broome Park to make sure our wonderful residents have the best quality of life; I feel it is important to make every little detail count. I like to go the extra mile to put a smile on all of our resident's faces
Holywell Park General Manager
I started my career at Holywell over 10 years ago as a nurse. I loved it straight away and being the general manager has always been my dream job. We think of ourselves like a family at Holywell and treat our residents with kindness, respect, and dignity. We are a lively bunch, and no day is the same. I believe in looking at the person not the illness. My door is always open to residents, relatives, and staff. I like to say hello to every resident every day and have a chat. Good communication and daily updates with all departments is essential for effective teamwork. I encourage professional and personal growth through training, supervisions and being self-aware. I have 2 grown up daughters and family oversees so we love to travel. I play Pickle-ball every week, enjoy coastal walks, lots of socialising and enjoying life at home and work.
Holywell Park Head of Care
I have worked at Holywell Park for 20 years, I started as a housekeeper and I have worked my way up through housekeeping, kitchen assistant, care assistant and team leader, then finally settling as Head of the Care team which I have been doing for the past 4 years. I am extremely determined. I feel my confidence and knowledge have grown massively over the years. I’ve enjoyed every minute of learning about the different aspects of care, there is so much more to being a care assistant than exclusively meeting personal care needs. I love building a good rapport with all the residents and providing an excellent standard of care in a person-centred approach. I love to go that extra mile to see a smile on our resident's faces.
Holywell Park Head Housekeeper
I have been working for Holywell for 9 years and I have been Head of Housekeeping since 2017. During this time I have worked hard at creating a dedicated, hardworking and solid team of housekeepers. I enjoy coming to work and making a difference. As a team, we work hard daily in making Holywell a friendly, lovely and clean homely environment for our residents.
Holywell Park Head Chef
My name is Derrick, I have been working at Holywell Park as the Kitchen Manager and Chef for the last 16 years. I run the meal service and manage several kitchen staff ensuring legislation and paperwork is up to date. I enjoy cooking and trialling new menus to suit a variety of diets and needs. Outside of work, I enjoy fixing things at home and gardening.
Holywell Park Activities Coordinator
I have worked at Holywell Park for over 13 years. I began as a care assistant, through to team leader and now Activities and Wellbeing Leader. I’m a Mum of 3 wonderful boys who are my world, they love coming in to see the residents, I want them to grow up see a care home setting as an inclusive environment. I have been revamping the range of activities at Holywell Park to accommodate some of our newer residents and introduce new opportunities.
Holywell Park Administrator
I started working at Holywell Park in December 2017 as a Part-time Administrator and was then offered the full-time position of Home Administrator in January 2019 due to staff changes. I am responsible for the smooth running of the payroll and other financial issues and work closely with our staff, residents, and families. I also work alongside our accounts team. It’s a challenging but enjoyable role as no two days are the same. Before having my children, who are now teenagers I worked as a payroll officer for an international advertising agency. I then took a work from home job with a media agency while raising them. As a family we spend some of our weekends watching my daughter show jumping as she has her own horse.
